Specimen stability
• Prevention of blood coagulation with K2EDTA
• Preservation of nucleated cells and cfDNA
• Unfilled tubes have 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture.
• Better stability across transit and dierent temperatures. cfDNA and gDNA are stable for
up to 14 days at 6 °C to 37 °C. /Sample transport and storage at 6-37ºC for up to 14 days.
Safety and durability
• Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001
• Easy-to-handle plastic tubes to reduce potential breakage, injuries, and cost
Convenient
• Allows for convenient sample collection, transport, and storage
Blood cfDNA stabilization reagent helps prevent hemolysis, allowing
clear distinction between plasma and cell fractions.
Whole blood from 6 subjects was collected into Cell-Free DNA Storage Tubes, EDTA tubes and blood collection tubes
designed for cfDNA stabilization from 1 other supplier. Plasma was separated directly after blood draw, after 4 days,
after 7 days and after 14 days storage at room temperature (15-25°C). Hemolysis was assessed by measuring the
absorption of free hemoglobin in plasma at 414 nm. Increase in sample hemolysis during sample storage at room
temperature was minimized in the Cell-Free DNA Storage Tubes compared to the other blood collection tubes with
dierent stabilization solutions. This indicates that the cfDNA stabilization reagent helps prevent hemolysis.
